Since PK wrote lengthy entry on Cipoi, makanya i think i wanna tokok tambah about her.
I was never a cat person before. Not only me but the whole family. I don't hate cats, i've never kick them out neither did i remember doing anything harmful to them; i just don't happen to have any connection with them. On the day that we took Cipoi (aka Poi) home, as described by PK; she was looking dreadful, pot-bellied and full of ticks and fleas.
Poi is a really fussy and finicky cat. She's a duplicate of PK in that sense, she likes anything expensive (ikan bilis pun nak makan yang jenis mahal je ok...) and she loves red. She had her own toy (yang ni murah...sudu susu) which is red, only red; she ignored green or anything else and i sew her a red blanket with white paws on it. After 6 years, she only eat the same brand of food with the same flavour (cerewet, sama macam PK! ...kuang..kuang..kuang...).
I remember how extremely active she was. Pantang nampak kaki bergerak, dia akan kejar & gigit. It was really difficult to move about without her clinging to you. For a person yang baru belajar nak bela kucing, it was absolutely challenging to have someone like her for a start. To avoid the possibility of losing my toe to her, we decided to confine her dalam tudung saji kecik whenever i'm doing my ironings. Any normal cat would've stayed still but Poi had turned her punishment into her playland. She'd moved around the whole house with the tudung saji on top of her, in and out of every room; she'd turned the tudung saji around and get in and out of it as she pleased.
On one of our rare occasion where we cooked; we had left our kuali bekas goreng ikan outside. We noticed that Poi was missing; she came in later with her face smudged with yellowish sticky liquid. We found out later that she had licked the whole pan. Habis semua minyak dalam kuali tu dia habiskan.
As she grows up, her mission changed to something more complicated, like sneaking out of the house. Her passion for anything moving never fades. She observes everything, in and outside the house. She started to enjoy watching lizards and birds and i tried to take her for a walk or a ride in the car every morning and evening.

She was definitely spoiled by us. I remember how difficult it was for us when we decided to get her spayed, how her back was bitten by Abang Piring, how she made friends with E-tam and Oren by extending her small hands through the door and then later, we adopted both of them. E-tam has been her good friend since then while Oren had succumbed to health complications.
When PK was away to that 'negara matahari diwaktu malam' for two months, Poi would willingly run into her carrier to accompany me to the office every night. Masa tu takde internet access kat rumah, so i had to menyalahgunakan kemudahan opis to be in touch with PK. Poi would wait for me sambil menyepah2kan my working place until she fell asleep and i had to wake her up to go back home.
We've been together for 6 years now. We've been together in every glorious and gloomy moments. Poi has definitely changed my perception, not only towards cats but also towards other animals. PK and me started with just a cat but until today we have more than what we had ever imagined. Poi shares my bed, even my pillow every night, she waits for me in the bathroom sink when i showers and she's the first to greet me whenever i open the door when i'm back from work. My life would have been less colorful without her and the rest of the FCs. If the question is whether i regretted taking her in; the answer will never change; and will always be 'no'.
